PhD Candidate in Economics

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Stony Brook University. My research integrates spatial equilibrium models with search-and-matching frameworks to study how individual migration decisions aggregate into broader social and economic structures. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked in economic consulting and earned a master’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara.

Research
My research integrates spatial equilibrium models with search-and-matching frameworks to understand the co-evolution of geographic migration and social structures. I am specifically interested in how individuals navigate the trade-offs between different matching environments—such as cities or digital platforms—anticipating how local population composition will shape the benefits they receive from social interactions.
