PhD Candidate in Economics

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Stony Brook University. My research uses search-and-matching models to study how individual migration decisions aggregate into broader social and economic structures. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked in economic consulting and earned a master’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara.

Research
My research develops models of migration and network formation to study how geographic mobility and social structure co-evolve. I am especially interested in how individuals choose among different matching environments—such as cities, communities, or digital platforms—while anticipating how local population composition shapes the value of social interactions.
